ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite)

Schedule: Part-Time, 16–20 hours per week

Pay: $20 - $25 per hour

Duration: Contract to hire

Overview

A long-standing client of LHH Recruitment is seeking a reliable and motivated Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day office operations in a welcoming, professional onsite environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and an excellent fit for someone looking to gain hands-on administrative experience, reenter the workforce, or pivot into an administrative or HR-focused career.

This role is often viewed as a paid internship–style opportunity with meaningful exposure to office administration, onboarding, and workplace operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional and friendly lobby presence , greeting visitors and supporting front-desk needs
  • Answer and direct incoming calls , ensuring accurate message-taking and routing
  • Order and manage office supplies and breakroom snacks , maintaining inventory and cleanliness
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation , including preparation of materials and coordination on start days
  • Provide general administrative support to the office and internal teams as needed
  • Participate in and support activities related to the Safety Committee , including documentation and meeting coordination
  • Support a positive, organized, and engaging office environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor
  • Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple small tasks
  • Basic computer skills; comfortable learning new systems and processes
  • Interest in administrative work, HR, or office operations
  • Ability to work onsite in Beaverton on a consistent, part-time schedule
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelors Degree is a big plus

Previous administrative experience is helpful but not required—training will be provided.
