A high-growth, private equity-backed healthcare services organization is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to join its team. This role offers a unique blend of accounting and finance, with strong visibility across the business and direct interaction with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and financial reporting activities
• Lead and review work across a small team, including direct and shared resources
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to support operational and financial initiatives
• Provide analysis and insights to drive business decision-making
• Identify and implement process improvements across accounting and finance functions
• Support a multi-entity environment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications

• Public accounting experience required (Big 4 or large regional preferred)
• Open to candidates coming directly from public or with a mix of public and industry
• Public experience should be recent
• CPA preferred, not required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to operate at both a detailed and strategic level
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience is a plus
• Exposure to managing or mentoring small teams is helpful
• Healthcare experience is a plus, not required
