The Opportunity

As the Learning Management System (LMS) Adminstrator , you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide technical and functional support to maintain the day-to-day and ongoing operation, maintenance, and usage of the SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Be accountable for handling daily support questions, escalating issues, and performing routine LMS ongoing system activities in support of corporate learning initiatives
  • Work closely with internal teams to manage user accounts, enrollments, and course content, and offers troubleshooting support as needed

The Team

Black & Veatch’s Business Enablement consists of critical groups that help enable the organizations people, projects, and businesses to be as successful as possible.   Functions in this group include Digital & Information Technology, Global Finance, Global Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and Government Affairs and Real Estate and Building Services. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Follows established philosophies, procedures, and policies for human resources information systems, and LMS. 
  • Perform day-to-day administration and setup of the LMS. Examples include: 
    • Create/publish/archive online and instructor-led courses, curricula, programs and collections, add/delete resources, etc. while maintaining data integrity of each professional’s learning records. 
    • Perform various ongoing system activities, including proxy enrollment, proxy assignment, merging user learning history, add/remove learning completions, schedule class offerings, and other ad hoc requests. 
    • Establish and maintain URLs to internal training resources and other online systems (e.g., vendor hosted courseware). 
    • Import and publish new learning content objects in the LMS, including:  WBTs, Videos and Documents  
    • Create, schedule, and run LMS standard reports. 
    • Produce professional official transcripts and training summary reports for use with engineering audits. 
  • Collaborate with training coordinators, content developers, and IT to ensure course materials are properly uploaded, tested, and maintained within the LMS. 
  • Raise technical, and other system concerns, issues with appropriate internal party. 
  • Responds to internal LMS support tickets and prioritizes needs daily.  
  • Execute standard system regression test scripts during upgrade releases.  
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to LMS processes and procedures. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years related HR or IT experience. 
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of Learning Management System (SAP SuccessFactors) or HRIS (HCM) experience; SAP, Oracle, or another SaaS vendor experience strongly preferred. 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, execute assigned project tasks within established schedule, and identify conflicting demands with direct supervision.  
  • Writes and communicates clearly and concisely. 
  • Experience with tool or process documentation.  
  • Solid customer service skills. 
  • Experience with data entry, meticulous processes, and basic stakeholder reporting. 
  • Ability to understand and articulate system requirements and constraints. 
  • Knowledge of instructional design and training delivery methodologies. 
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies. 

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
