Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) security environment. An equivalent of eight years experience may substitute for the degree.
• Familiarity with Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
• Proficient with Microsoft O365 applications.
• Basic comprehension of security classification guidelines.
• In-depth knowledge of various security policies and procedures, including but not limited to NISPOM rule at 32 CFR Part 117, DoDM 5205.07 (volumes 1-4), DoDM 5105.2 (volumes 1-3), DoDM 5200.01 (volumes 1-3), DoDI 5200.48, ICD Series of Directives, along with other program security stipulations relevant to operating compartmented spaces.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Ability to maintain a stationary position for approximately 50% of the work time.

• Process and oversee documentation and programs related to information security, operational security, physical security, and industrial security.
• Provide assistance to the government security personnel in managing their collateral, Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) responsibilities, which include document control, visitor management, and information security tasks such as data transfers and physical security measures.
• Aid in developing, applying, directing, and scrutinizing policies, instructions, procedures, and control systems to thwart the compromise or loss of classified information or materials.
• Evaluate and ensure correctness of security clearance applications, while assisting in physical security assessments, surveys, and inspections.
• Prepare classified documentation for mailing as per the relevant Department of Defense regulations, including markings, receipts, wrapping, and tracking procedures.
• Manage the preparation of visit authorization requests (VARs) for both incoming and outgoing communications.
• Offer security support for conferences by processing VARs, verifying participant clearances, transporting classified materials, and providing on-site assistance.
