Job Description

This Universal Teller position is responsible for providing customers with friendly, efficient, and professional service in an accurate and timely manner at all times by processing account transactions, cross-selling the Bank’s products and services, opening, maintaining and closing of all account types, and promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff. This position is responsible for managing and balancing a cash drawer in an accurate manner.

Coulee Bank is seeking out an energetic and passionate candidate to fill a full-time Universal Teller role in our La Crosse office, as well as back up our Onalaska branch, as business needs arise. As a Universal Teller, you will enjoy working flexible daytime hours Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:00am-6:00pm and no more than two Saturday mornings/month from 8am-12pm.

A Day in the Life of a Teller

As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll arrive ready to greet customers. You’ll efficiently cash checks, process deposits and loan payments, and balance a cash drawer. And, most of all, you can have pride in making a positive impression on each and every customer that you serve!

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of customer service experience. In addition, your written and oral communications skills are top notch and will help you to listen and identify customer’s financial needs to better support their financial growth. You are a problem-solver that is not afraid to make a decision and are able to take initiative without being asked.

Pay Range: The likely salary range for this position is: $17.00 -$20.00/hr plus incentives and potential for annual bonus. The estimated hiring range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Salary will be determined based on experience and could fall outside of this range.
